Therapy that honors both your strength and your exhaustion.

Most women who find their way here are used to being the capable one—showing up for work, caring deeply for family, and carrying responsibility without letting it show.

And somewhere along the way, you may have begun to feel overwhelmed, depleted, or disconnected from yourself. You may still be functioning day to day, while quietly living with persistent anxiety, emotional heaviness, or a low mood that’s hard to explain.

These experiences are common in seasons of burnout, hormonal change, and life transition—and they are also highly treatable with thoughtful, evidence-based care.

At The Peaceful Place, we don’t just “manage” symptoms. We look at the roots—the unique pressures of the woman who is navigating the peak of her career, the complexities of motherhood, or the physical and emotional shifts of perimenopause.

This is therapy for the woman who is tired of being “strong” and is ready to be well.

You may be feeling... Exhausted, irritable, or emotionally numb despite "having it all." Managing career, family, and constant responsibility on your own. Questioning your identity or direction in midlife and hormonal change. Moving through life on autopilot while quietly longing for something more. You are not alone in this.

The Process

What to Expect

1

Complimentary Consultation (15 minutes)

A brief, no-pressure call to discuss what has been feeling most difficult, answer your questions, and decide together whether this feels like a good fit. If I’m not the right match, I will personally help you find someone who is.

2

Initial Session (50–55 minutes)

A calm, unhurried conversation focused on understanding what brings you to therapy, relevant history and current stressors, your goals and hopes for change, and reviewing confidentiality and practice policies. You are welcome to share at your own pace.

3

Ongoing Therapy

Standard sessions are 50 minutes. Most clients begin with weekly sessions, with frequency adjusted over time based on progress and need. We regularly review progress so therapy remains intentional, meaningful, and aligned with your goals.

4

When You’re Ready

Ending therapy is a collaborative and thoughtful process. Women begin to notice quiet shifts—feeling steadier, making clearer decisions, trusting themselves in ways they didn’t before. We take time to reflect on your growth, honor the work you’ve done, and make sure you feel supported moving forward. And if life brings you back someday, that door is always open.

From the first conversation to lasting change.

quiet revolution.

You do not have to keep functioning in survival mode. The first step is a complimentary, confidential consultation—a simple conversation to see whether this feels like the right place to begin.

Reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable—especially when you are used to being the strong one. That courage is already a sign of something shifting.
